Hey there! Welcome or welcome back! Today, I'll be sharing my second monthly recap. March was definitely the best month this year so far (I know, it's only the third month π) so let's get right into it!
I turned fifteen! I had a great day - read all about it right here.
My aunt and uncle came for a visit! They live super far away (like, if we drove we could not get there in one day. Even if we drove all day.) It was so nice to see them! We explored our area for a bit, then went for a bit of a drive to go snowboarding πThey stayed at a super fancy hotel (one of the best in the world, according to a few different articles!) near us, and they let us see their room! I would tell you more, but that might give away my location πI was so sad when they left.
We went on a trip to Hershey, Pennsylvania. The park wasn't open for the season yet, so we went to Hershey's Chocolate World, which was really fun! We tried every activity there π My favorite was making my own chocolate bar. I chose a white chocolate shell and added heath toffee bits, butterscotch chips, and semisweet chocolate chips. It was delicious! We also went to Hershey Gardens, where they had a butterfly atrium. None landed on me (π) but it was nice to see them! There were some really big ones. Poor Elijah really wanted one to land on him. Eliyah was scared of them, actually! It was very nice, though.

Our friend, who is a missionary in the Philippines, came to visit. It was such a treat to see her because, although we knew she was in the states, we weren't sure if she would be able to stop by. She only stayed for a short time, but we enjoyed every moment!
I most certainly did not freak out over my five new followers. (as of today, six!) I also didn't go crazy that I actually have comments on my blog. But, uh, definitely comment and follow! I'll be totally fine. *voice cracks*
(but seriously guys, thank you so much for the support!)
I broke a swim record - again! In February, I told you guys that I broke my 50 free record (50 yards freestyle) of 42 seconds and swam it in 40 seconds. This month, I swam it in 39 seconds - then broke it again and swam it in 38 seconds! (Sorry if that makes no sense lol)
Got a 98 on my
research paper! It took about 8 weeks to write about it. (I chose to write about climate change.) I put a lot of effort into it and was happy with my 98 π Read it right
here!
I met an author who I won't specify here (might give away my location π) But I was sooooooo excited! I've always thought it would be cool to meet her but never thought it'd actually happen. She and the illustrator visited Elijah's school, so I went to the assembly that she spoke at. Then later that day, we went to the book signing. The illustrator was there, too - so she drew a picture of me in my book, and the author signed! Ahhhhhhhh π
