May Recap: 2024
Hey friends! It's June now and basically summer! I can't wait for the beach, warm breeze, and sunshine. But for now, let's take a moment to review the last month.
I finished my paperwork for lifeguarding - whew, that took forever! I'm finally starting my shadowing days soon.
We celebrated Mother's Day together! I took "The Best Day" by Taylor Swift and rewrote the lyrics for my mom and played it at church. It was really special 💞 You can watch the video right here! (I made a copy of the original video and changed the clips that may reveal my location 😉) I also decorated the house for Mother's Day. Plus Kuya and I went to a bakery and got a bunch of breakfast treats 😊
We had a grill right after taking all the patio cushions out on Memorial Day weekend, which was really nice. I ate wayyy too many carbs haha
I helped with a Ladies Spring Retreat at my church - all the teen girls help out with ladies events. This was our first spring retreat! I'm still working on a video of all the pictures to play for the church.
I got face paint from Michaels. Look out, Elijah and Eliyah - you will be my victims for the next few weeks *villian laugh*
Eliyah and I went to the beach! Not quite the weather to jump in the water yet, but it was really nice!

Aww, i LOVE the best day and that's so sweet that you rewrote it for your mom ♥♥ she must have loved it. Is that your sister? She's adorable! And it's nice to see you finished nearly all your goals - I can never seem to meet my own expectations, haha. Anyway, your blog is really cute! Can't wait to see your new WordPress design, as a fellow Blogger-turned-Wordpress girl ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yeah, The Best Day is definitely one of my favorites. I'm glad she enjoyed it too. She knows of Taylor Swift (she even met her!) but doesn't listen to her music, but it was nice to find something she liked and make it special to her!

Yes, definitely! And my little brother's not even out of school yet. Aw, thanks! I love "The Best Day" and was especially glad to make it special for my mom.
