April Recap: 2024
Hiiii! Welcome to my third monthly recap. I love April - the flowers are peeping out, the days are warmer and longer, and everything is coming to life (especially the town I live in!) April has been a busy month for me, so let's jump right in!
I got my lifeguard certification! I've been trying to do this for months, but I had to be 15 and there wasn't a course available yet. My brother (Paolo) also got certified. We got to do the rescues on each other! We all joked around that it was harder to be the "victim" than to be the rescuer. It was especially hard to stay underwater while we did the "submerged" rescue (the victim is at the bottom of the pool.) And, as an addition to that...
I got hired as a lifeguard! I haven't started working yet, but I will soon😊
I went to a bridal shower - it was really nice! I got to help set up, which I love doing. Don't you think April is the perfect time for a bridal shower? My little brother is going to be the ringbearer at the wedding in June 😊
I started babysitting for my neighbor - she is Eliyah's age. She is sooo adorable and I get to watch her twice a week. I like riding my bike over to her house, even though it's 2 minutes away 😜
I volunteered at Elijah's school for Grandparents Day, which was really fun! Sure, I was the only fifteen year old (all the name tags said "parent volunteer" lol) but I had a great time.

Hii Emeren its so cool that you found my blog! I hope you stay on Blogspot for a little while longer, at least, because Blogger is very undrrated in my oppinion :)
ReplyDeleteYour blog is great! It was fun to finally find a blogger blog. It's hard to find them. Yeah, blogger is nice! I love how simple it is to use. I am thinking about wordpress because there are more features and I could customize it a lot more than this one. But I am a little busy right now so I probably won't move yet!
DeleteIt sounds like you had a great month! That's so cool that you got your lifeguard certification and already got hired!! And don't feel bad about your bedding... I haven't cleaned my room since Christmas and pretty much can't walk on the floor despite efforts to keep it clean *hides and blames the books* I'm like never in there tho, soooo XD
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'm pretty excited to become a lifeguard! I'll probably start this week, as soon as this boring paperwork is done 🙄 My brother already started because he's 17, but I have extra paperwork since I'm 15. Wahhh....
DeleteHaha I promise I will do my sheets tomorrow! *bolts out the door to hide* My room is an absolute mess right now because I try to clean and then my cute sister comes in and *somehow* gets me distracted. Every. single. time.
