Elf on the Shelf return!

Do your little siblings have an Elf on the Shelf? Maybe you are in charge of hiding them each day. Elijah and Eliyah love their Elf, Buddy. He's pretty new to the family, but he fits right in 😊

Our little friend just arrived for the Christmas season! If your elf hasn't arrived yet, you may want to consider this fun return idea this year!

This is a very simple idea. All you need is a gift bag and tissue paper! If you want to make it a little more fun, use a letter board like this one from Michael's

Buddy (aka me) also brought some gifts! I got this adorable Elf on the Shelf top from Carter's for Elijah (it says girls top on the website, but it is unisex 😁) They didn't have Eliyah's size, unfortunately, so I used a cute shirt that we found at Walmart.

If you are looking for more ideas for your Elf's return, check out this article from the Elf on the Shelf website or this article from Country Living. Both are filled with cute ideas to kick off the holiday season!

They were both super excited to have their friend back!

Eliyah noticed Buddy as soon as she got out of her room 😊

Q&A

    Q. Do your siblings/kids need to believe in Santa to have an Elf on the Shelf?
           a. No! My little siblings don't believe in Santa, and they know that I am the one who moves the                   elf each night. Searching for the elf in the morning is something they both enjoy.

  Q. When do most Scout Elves return?
            a. Most scout elves return somewhere during Scout Elf Return week, which is from November 22nd to December 1st.

  Q. Where can I get an Elf on the Shelf?
            a. Just about anywhere! Look on the Elf on the Shelf website, at Walmart, on Amazon, at Target. It's pretty easy to find them!
